Tips for making tea
- Good quality water will always make your tea taste better.
- Warm up your teapot before you make your tea.
- For new tea drinkers, try not to brew your tea for too long as once it becomes too strong, you will find it hard to enjoy! Just infuse your tea for a short period of time (perhaps 40 seconds or 1 minute – especially green tea) to see if it is strong enough for you. You can always put it back for brewing if the strength is not right for you.
- It is best to pour all of the tea out at its right strength. By leaving the tea with tea leaf in the teapot, the tea will be getting stronger and stronger. If you use an infuser or strainer while making tea, you can just simply take it out.
These guides on preparing tea are general guidelines ONLY, we recommend that you adjust the strength and drawing times to suit your own taste.
